What’s new in Ableton Live Suite 11.1.6?

Those with upgraded to the latest version of Apple’s Aperture Photo library software may want to check their white list settings. Live 11.1.6 currently says that Ableton Suite is not permitted to access the Photo library. If this happens, simply add Aperture to the same, authorized, Apple ID as your Live Suite installation to resolve the issue.

Also, if you’re encountering compatibility issues with third party hosts, check that your configuration settings have not been accidentally deleted. You can resolve any issues with a missing Host List easily by setting the Host list to the default (Auto) or by simply deleting any Host entries present.

Just set up two clips on the same track, click a chord on the A/B buttons to change between the clips on each axis, and youre done.

Beyond the changes to MIDI and sound, part of Ableton Live 11.1.6 is what the company calls ‘new device support’. MPE apps are basically a way of telling various devices, synths and effects that they are compatible with MPE, rather than the usual non MPE devices.
