Keyboard shortcuts exist that can be added to the paint app: Users can assign colors to the top paint brush, blackboard eraser, pencil, oil brush, foreground, and background. In addition, users can paint within any size, using magic select, crop, or move.
This, and other additional features and updates are currently in the works for Paint 3D. It is also possible to use the app in 2D. For example, you can select an image and draw over it, and it’ll create a 2D copy of the image. It’s a nice way to generate 2D content, which is also how it was introduced into Microsoft’s open source project, Github.

Each of the other tools within the Paint 3D toolbar work in a similar fashion: They provide specialized brushes, gradients, and so on, and you can combine them to create truly unique, creative work.
