Before getting PhotoScape X, I opened many of my scanned family photos and accidentally changed the brightness of the background images. I want to reverse the brightness without affecting the content of the photos. I’m using PhotoScape X to reverse the brightness and get rid of the image.
I’m trying to use PhotoScape X to create an image with the background as white with a black image in the background to create a gradient. I’ve already opened the image and tried the different settings on the ‘Add Gradient’ tool to no avail. I’ll just have to keep playing around with it. I’ll take another shot at this later.

Comments: I am still using PhotoScape X Pro and am still satisfied with it. The only drawback I find with it is that I have to frequently update it because the software is continually being updated. That’s fine, but it would be nice if the updates came out more frequently.
I like that PhotoScape X Pro comes with a library of lots of templates, including new ones that I do not find in the free version. For example, the Apple Mac templates, the school templates, the business templates, and more. There are more than 80 different templates in the free version. I liked that the presets were not too difficult to customize, though I would have liked more options to have the effect appear more naturally. I also liked that the manual adjustment is not difficult to change. The features are easy to find, even for non-visual people. I would be more concerned with the speed, but I guess that depends on how many images you are editing.
It’s so easy to use Photoscape. It’s always been a dream to me to learn to use a photo editor and everyone who knows me says I’m crazy. I have used PhotoScape since it first came out. The latest release is a real leap forward in terms of functionality. At last it lets me crop and edit my photos fast and easily.
It seems a bit odd to me that in the newest release of PhotoScape X, there is still no Batch Import tool. When this tool was present, it meant that you could load photos in Groups and apply edits quickly. They could be saved in different sizes, added to a CD or DVD quickly and efficiently. It also allowed the user to make adjustments and play back all the images at once. It just doesn’t happen to be there. You still get to crop and edit your photos.

This feature is especially good for landscape or wildlife photography. One important feature that I found useful is the “Magic Camera” that comes with the software. I bought a Photoshopping software called Lifetime PhotoScape X Pro Version and I can honestly say that I think it is the BEST! It is inexpensive, easy to use and to learn, and it works with almost every program that you use.
